sad to see it go, it must have been some copyright issues because he'd upload a lot of major label releases. Ian of the zamboni blog was my go to guy for all the major label releases that are actually good! I wonder if he'll just put up another blog, what's stopping him?

Sorry for the confusion! I have a google alert for the phrase "zambonisoundtracks" which is how I saw this.
Anyway I'm taking a break for a while, but that's an archive of the old blog that works for now.
Oh, to answer the mystery... Google decided on April 1st that I had one too many DMCA takedowns (probably 50 over 3 years) and killed it.
